What it costs

Pay when you sell. Add only what you use.

  • Tickets

    Live

Ticketing, door check-in, mobile wallet passes and guest records. The fee sits inside the buyer’s all-in price, so you receive the price you set. Free events are free.

8%per paid ticket, paid by the buyer

  • Vendor checkout

    Coming

Your bar, food and merch vendors take payments through CerebrOS checkout on the card terminal they already use. Vendors keep their share and are paid as usual; we never hold their money. You see every stand’s sales live, by stand and by hour. Vendor sales are reported per stand, not tied to individual guests.

  • Vendor sales reporting

    Coming

Vendors link the register they already use so their sales show up next to your ticket sales, with no change to how they get paid. See which stands earn, when the rush hits and what each event brings in beyond the door.

How the price works

One number, start to finish.

  • You type your price

The console shows the buyer price next to every ticket type. That is the price to put on flyers and posts.

  • The buyer sees one price

It appears on the event page before a ticket is picked and never goes up at checkout. A smaller breakdown shows the ticket price, service charge and processing in dollars.

  • Processing is covered

Card processing is built into the buyer's price, so it never comes out of yours. International cards cost a little more to process, so on those you may net slightly less. On multi-ticket orders you net slightly more.

  • Refunds return our fee

Refund a ticket and the 8% comes back to you. On a dispute, we return it right away without waiting for the outcome.

  • Add-ons are billed to you

Never to buyers. Each shows its price, billing period and how to cancel before you turn it on.

  • Fee changes come with notice

At least 30 days' notice by email and in the console before any increase. A change never touches tickets already sold.

How we collect data

Plain rules, written down.

  1. At checkout

Buyers give their name, email, phone and ZIP. One record per person.

  2. At the door

Door scans attach to that same record. Vendor sales are counted per stand, never per guest.

  3. Marketing is a separate choice

Unchecked by default, and recorded word for word as the buyer saw it.

  4. Buyers stay in control

They can see and change their choices at any time.

  5. You own your list

Export it whenever you want. CerebrOS does not sell guest data or use it for advertising.

The details are in our privacy policy.

Questions

About money.

Who pays the fee?

The buyer. You set your price. The buyer sees one all-in price that already includes the 8% CerebrOS fee and card processing. Nothing is added at checkout. A breakdown sits under the price for anyone who wants to see it.

How much do I receive per ticket?

Your set price, on a standard US card. Card processing is built into the buyer's price, so it comes out of their total, not your price.

International cards cost a little more to process, so on those you may net slightly less. On multi-ticket orders you net slightly more.

Is there a monthly fee or a contract?

No monthly fee, no setup fee, no minimum. Optional add-ons, such as text messaging or your own domain and branding, show their price in the console before you turn them on. You can stop selling and close your organization at any time.

When do I get paid?

Ticket money is yours from the moment of sale and pays out to your bank on your own schedule. It never sits in a CerebrOS account, so you are not waiting until after the event to be paid.

What happens when I refund a ticket?

CerebrOS returns its fee on every refunded ticket, automatically when you refund from the console. Your refund policy decides who gets a refund. On a refund the buyer asked for, the card processing amount is not returned. If you cancel an event, buyers get the full price back.

Pay when you sell.

Nothing until then. Set up takes about two minutes.
