CerebrOS Ticket Terms
Effective October 22, 2026
Version: 2
These Ticket Terms apply when you buy, reserve or receive a ticket through CerebrOS. Please read them. They include a limit on our liability (Section 15) and say where disputes are decided (Section 16).
1. Who you are dealing with
The event organizer sells you the ticket. Each ticket page names the organizer that runs the event (the "Organizer"). When you buy a ticket, you buy it from the Organizer. The Organizer is the seller and the merchant of record. The Organizer's business name appears on your card statement, your receipt and your ticket.
CerebrOS runs the ticketing. Creative Code Collective Labs LLC, doing business as CerebrOS AI ("CerebrOS", "we", "us"), provides the ticket pages, checkout, ticket delivery and door check-in for the Organizer. We are the Organizer's service provider. We do not run the event, and we do not sell you the ticket.
Three sets of terms apply to your ticket:
- the Organizer's event terms and refund policy, shown on the ticket page and at checkout. These cover the event itself: what you get, entry rules, refunds and changes;
- these Ticket Terms, which cover your use of the CerebrOS ticketing service and the rules every Organizer must follow when selling through it; and
- our Privacy Policy, which explains how your information is handled.
If the Organizer's terms conflict with these Ticket Terms on how prices are shown, how refunds are calculated or when a full refund is owed, these Ticket Terms control, unless the Organizer's terms give you more.
2. Who can buy
You must be at least 18 to buy or reserve tickets. You may buy tickets for other people, including children. If you do, you confirm you are allowed to act for them, and you are responsible for them following these terms and the Organizer's rules.
We do not ask for a child's name or contact details at checkout. Do not enter them.
3. Prices
One price, shown first. The price shown for each ticket is the full price you pay for it (the "Ticket Price"). It includes:
- the Organizer's ticket price;
- a service charge, which is CerebrOS's fee; and
- a payment processing amount, which covers the card processing fee on that ticket.
Before you pay, checkout shows your order total and a breakdown of these amounts in dollars. The breakdown explains the Ticket Price. It never adds to it. The price does not go up during checkout.
The processing amount is part of the price for every buyer, whatever payment method you use. It is not a surcharge for paying by card.
Taxes. If a tax applies to the ticket, it is already inside the Ticket Price. We do not add tax at checkout. If the law requires a tax to be shown separately, the breakdown shows it as a line within the Ticket Price.
Free tickets cost nothing. No service charge or processing amount applies.
4. Checkout and payment
Holds. When you continue to payment, your tickets are held for you for up to 30 minutes. If payment does not complete in that time, the hold ends, the order is cancelled and the tickets return to sale. You are not charged for a cancelled order.
Payment. Payment is processed by Stripe on the Organizer's account. You enter card details directly into Stripe's secure payment fields. CerebrOS never receives your card number.
Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds. You then see your tickets on your order page and receive them by email. If a payment needs extra steps, such as a bank redirect, your order is confirmed only when the payment completes.
Your receipt. Your ticket email is your receipt. It shows the price breakdown and the Organizer's refund policy.
Accurate details. Give your real name, email address, phone number and ZIP code. The Organizer uses them to deliver your tickets, confirm who you are at the door and contact you about the event.
5. Your tickets
One ticket per person. Each ticket admits one person. If you add names for the other people on your order, each ticket shows its holder's name.
Ticket codes. Each ticket has a unique QR code. Anyone who has your code may be able to use it. Keep your order link, email and tickets private. Do not post them online.
Delivery. Tickets are delivered by email and on your order page. If you did not get them, check your spam folder, then contact the Organizer. The Organizer can resend them.
Apple Wallet. You may add tickets to Apple Wallet. If event details change, such as time or venue, your pass may update automatically. Apple Wallet is provided by Apple under Apple's terms. Removing the pass stops updates. Your ticket is still valid by its QR code.
6. Refunds
The Organizer decides refunds. The Organizer's refund policy is shown before you pay, on your order page and in your ticket email. It decides whether you can get a refund when you ask for one. Ask the Organizer for refunds, not CerebrOS.
If you ask for a refund and the Organizer agrees: you get back the Ticket Price minus the payment processing amount on each refunded ticket, unless the Organizer chooses to refund that amount too. The processing amount pays the card processing fee, which is not returned to the seller when a payment is refunded. The service charge is refunded. The checkout breakdown shows the processing amount on each ticket before you pay.
If the Organizer cancels the event: you get back the full Ticket Price, including the processing amount, within 30 days of the cancellation, or sooner if the law requires.
If the event is postponed, rescheduled or replaced: you get the refund, replacement or credit the law requires. Where you are entitled to ask for a refund, it is paid within 30 days of your request, or sooner if the law requires.
Partial refunds are made only where the Organizer's policy and the law allow.
How refunds reach you. Refunds go back to the payment method you used. Your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show it. Refunded tickets stop working at the door.
If the Organizer does not pay a refund it owes, tell us at support@cerebrosai.com. Our agreement with Organizers lets us issue refunds the Organizer owes from the Organizer's account in some cases. We will try to help, but the refund obligation is the Organizer's.
7. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact the Organizer first if something is wrong with your order. Most problems are solved faster that way.
You keep every right your card issuer and the law give you. If you dispute a charge, the Organizer may suspend the disputed tickets until the dispute is resolved. If the dispute is resolved in your favor, those tickets are cancelled.
8. Transfers and resale
The Service does not offer a ticket transfer feature yet. Whether you may give or sell your ticket to someone else is set by the Organizer's event terms and by the law where the event takes place. Some laws protect your right to transfer a ticket. Where the law protects a transfer, the Organizer may not cancel a ticket only because it was lawfully transferred.
If you give a ticket to someone, give them the ticket itself. The first valid scan of a ticket code admits one person. A later scan of the same code is treated as re-entry or refused, depending on the Organizer's rules.
You may not resell tickets in breach of the law or the Organizer's terms, or use bots or other automated means to buy tickets.
9. Entry and the door
The Organizer decides who is admitted. The Organizer and the venue set the entry rules, such as ID checks, age limits, bag checks and conduct rules. They may refuse entry or remove you for breaking them, as the law allows. Whether you get a refund then depends on the Organizer's refund policy and the law.
Every scan is recorded. When staff scan your ticket or admit you from the guest list, we record the time, the result and the staff device. Each re-entry is recorded too. The Organizer uses these records to control entry and count attendance.
If scanning is down, staff may admit you from a guest list.
Age limits listed for an event are the Organizer's responsibility to enforce.
10. Changes to the event
The Organizer is responsible for the event, including its date, time, venue, line-up and content. If an event changes, the Organizer will update the ticket page and tell ticket holders. Section 6 covers what you get back.
11. Messages
Service messages. We send messages about tickets you hold, such as your tickets, entry details, changes and cancellations. These are not marketing.
Texts. Your tickets and messages about them come by email, not by text. The Organizer texts you only if you tick the separate box for texts at checkout, and only once its texting number is approved. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
Marketing. You get marketing email or texts from an Organizer only if you tick a separate box to agree. Ticking it is never required to buy. You can unsubscribe any time. See the Text Message Terms.
12. Rules for using the Service
Do not:
- use bots, scripts or other automated means to buy, hold or check tickets, or to get around ticket limits or queues;
- give false information, or use someone else's payment method without permission;
- copy, forge or alter tickets or ticket codes;
- try to access other people's orders or information, or test or break the Service's security; or
- use the Service to break the law.
We or the Organizer may cancel orders made in breach of this Section, as the law allows.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected and used, and your rights. The Organizer's own privacy notice also applies. Card details go only to Stripe.
14. What CerebrOS is and is not responsible for
We provide the ticketing service with reasonable care and skill. We do not run events. To the fullest extent the law allows, CerebrOS is not responsible for:
- the event itself, its quality, safety, content, cancellation, postponement or changes;
- the Organizer's conduct, its refund decisions or its failure to pay a refund it owes;
- the venue, entry decisions, or anything that happens at the event; or
- services run by others, such as Stripe, Apple Wallet, your email provider or your mobile carrier.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law says cannot be limited.
15. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- CerebrOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the Service; and
- CerebrOS's total liability to you for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the service charges you paid through the Service for the order the claim relates to, and (b) US $100.
These limits do not apply to liability for fraud, willful injury, willful misconduct or gross negligence, to violations of law that California Civil Code §1668 does not allow us to limit, or to any other liability the law does not allow us to limit. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
16. Disputes
Talk to us first. If you have a problem with the Service, email legal@cerebrosai.com. We will try to resolve it within 30 days. Problems with the event or a refund go to the Organizer.
Governing law. These terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Where disputes go. You may bring a claim in small claims court where you live or in Sacramento County, California, if it qualifies. Otherwise, any dispute about the Service will be decided in the state or federal courts in Sacramento County, California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to sue at home.
We do not require arbitration, and we do not ask you to give up class actions.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these Ticket Terms. Each version has a number and an effective date. The version you accepted at checkout applies to that order. A later version applies only to orders placed after it takes effect.
18. Electronic records
You agree to receive your tickets, receipts and notices about your order electronically. Ticking the box at checkout and completing your order is your agreement to these terms, with the same effect as a signature. We keep a record of the version you accepted and the wording you saw.
19. Contact
Questions about your event, order or refund: the Organizer. Their name and contact details are on your receipt and ticket.
Questions about the CerebrOS ticketing service: support@cerebrosai.com. Legal notices: legal@cerebrosai.com. Privacy requests: privacy@cerebrosai.com.
